On Friday November 2, Australia will host a world-exclusive fashion event. The first Hermès Pop-up store will open at Melbourne’s Le Louvre in stylish South Yarra.
Melbourne’s style stalkers will have the opportunity to view and purchase a uniquely created silk scarf, designed by Bali Barret, deputy artistic director of women’s collections at Hermès, as homage to Lilian Wightman, the founder of Le Louvre.
Tucked away in a side street off infamous Chapel Street, Le Louvre offers a fusion of fashion, art and design. The boutique salon, filled with beautiful things from all over the world, will play host to the Pop-up.
Barret used the signature Hermès scarf design, Monsieur & Madame, and paired it with the ocelot pattern synonymous with Le Louvre, to create the accessory collaboration.
