As one of the most stylish people around, Alexa Chung has just confirmed that she is looking into establishing her own fashion line. I for one cannot wait to see her creations.
This from Harper's Bazaar ~
Chung is well versed in the work involved behind the seams — she’s a Young Style Ambassador to the British Fashion Council, has created a collection for Madewell and is the name behind the hit Mulberry Alexa bag — and she intends to be hands-on when it comes to her future collections. “In this current era of celebrity no one believes you actually design the stuff anyway, even though I sketch everything myself,” she explained. “So if it sucks I can say I had nothing to do with it, and if it’s really good I can say, ‘Here are the drawings, it’s all my own work!’”
So, what can we expect from the It girl’s label? We predict swinging 1960s silhouettes, androgynous pants-suits and a le smoking loafer-slipper in the mix.
