The trick to creating an effortlessly chic wardrobe is to build it gradually over time.
Your taste is becoming more refined so you are going to be more picky when it comes to adding
new pieces. When shopping I always ask myself, 'would I wear this 3-5 years from now?' and if it's a
yes, then I invest in it. Your wardrobe should consist of 85% quality pieces and 15% trendy pieces.
French women shun trends:(...but it doesn't mean you can't have fun with them from time to time).

Love these tips :~
Classic black dress
I am not really the long evening dress type.
A gorgeous black dress (Audrey Hepburn style) I also have also just invested
in a few gorgeous print dresses from CUE as well.
I will be culling much of my wardrobe and keeping items I will want to wear in 3-5 years time.
Stripes
(very french & very chic) a french must have at any age.

A Scarf
A light weight or heavy knit. The French are all about layering and adding a personal touch.

Outerwear
Whether a trench or peacoat, your jacket is the last thing you put on but the first impression you make.
